Check your indoor unit (attic/closet):
Look for a metal flue pipe coming out of the top (to vent exhaust) and a gas pipe (usually black iron) connected to the bottom.
These units have NO exhaust pipe and no gas line. They are connected only by electrical wires. Common in "all-electric" homes.
